It’s here! November is upon us, and with bonfire night out of the way, it’s now accepted amongst the general public to talk about Christmas. However for those of you who work in Retail or have done in the past, we salute you!


Theres nothing quite like the smell in the air of roaring fires, mulled wine, Christmas cake and everything else that comes with the festive season.


Personally, the arrival of Starbucks’ festive drinks is the kick-off point for me! But the one thing that everybody is talking about is Christmas Ads on TV.


Whether it be John Lewis, Sainsbury’s, Aldi or Marks & Spencer’s, we have all come to expect quite the spectacle for the festive television ad.


John Lewis, first broke the trend by boldly taking up a whole ad break with a short film ad a few years back, and naturally, the others soon followed suit.


This is year is no different, but what has probably gained more publicity this year is the reaction/parody videos that have come to mock the work of the ad supremes, but any PR is good PR right?!

In our opinion, perhaps one of the best campaigns all together was by Burberry, offering the tale of Thomas Burberry for all to see, opening the brand up to a humble and warm feeling reinforcing the British and heritage brand amongst us all.
